Privacy notice

When you send us a booking request through this website, you give us a few details so we can confirm it with you. This page explains what we collect, why, where it goes, how long it is kept and what your rights are.

Who we are

On The Spot Detailing is responsible for the details you send us through this website. If you have any question about your details, or want to use any of the rights below, contact us:

What our booking form collects

Our booking form asks for:

Why we use it

We use your details to confirm your booking, give you a final quote and arrange your drop-off. If you then book work with us, we use them to carry out the work. We use your details because you asked us to contact you, and because we need them to take the steps you asked for before any agreement for work. We use them only for these purposes, and we do not sell them or pass them to anyone else for their own use.

Where your details go

This website is built and run for us by PagePitch. When you confirm your booking, your request goes to PagePitch’s form handler, which emails it to our inbox. The form handler also keeps a copy of the request in a secure database, so that a booking is not lost if an email fails to arrive. The website, the form handler and its database are hosted by Cloudflare, and the emails are sent through Zoho ZeptoMail. These companies handle your details on our behalf and may not use them for anything else.

To protect our booking form from spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to check that a real person is sending the form (see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).

How long it is kept

The copy held by the form handler is deleted automatically after 12 months. In our own inbox and records, we keep your booking only for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any work you book with us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us:

Contact us using the details above. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.

How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113.
